Beloved Brother, We have been provided a great plan to accomplish by our lord. We want to spread the good news far and wide. You know that we are living in a country where a lot is to be done. Out of the 80 million people in Ethiopia, less than 1 million people have received Jesus. Though we have a very strong will and a great promise from our Lord, we need people who can sponsor financially and materially to accomplish our objectives. We started from Debre Zeyit
where there is annual pagan religion celebrated in front of Lake
Hora. Animals are sacrificed while whiskey and other drinks are
thrown into the lake. Butter is anointed on trees and songs of
celebration are undertaken. We have established outreaches to
bring these people to the light of God.

History of the Debre Zeyit Evangelical Misgana Church
Debre Zeyit Evangelical Misgana Church first began in the form of fellowship on September 20, 1977. After ten years it was recognized as a church in 1987. At that time time there were around twenty members. It started in the house of an individual believer. We worshipped the Lord in that house for four years until 1991 when we worshipped in a rented house.
We were given our own compound by the municipality an 1994. Since there was a strong opposition against our church, it was completely destroyed and most of our people were attacked.
Also in 1994 we were provided with our present compound and the ones who were suspected of destroying the old church were made to construct a new church in our newly obtained compound. The new Church building was inaugurated on September 9, 2005. At that time the total number of our people had risen to 400.
